How it works
- Book a free laser consult online and pick a time at Solana Beach.
- Your provider looks at your skin, history and goals, and tells you if BBL, MOXI or both fit.
- If it's a fit and you're ready, treatment can start the same visit. If not, you get a plan with the number of sessions and the price.
- Most plans are 3 sessions about 4 weeks apart.
What the days after look like
BBL
Day 0: warmth and some redness.
Over about 7–10 days: brown spots darken and flake off on their own. Redness keeps improving over the following weeks.
MOXI
Day 0: red and warm.
Days 1–3: small rough dots, then skin looks brighter and smoother within about a week.
Results build with each session. Individual results vary.

Laser FAQ
Is there any downtime?
BBL: usually minimal. Brown spots darken and flake off over about 7–10 days, and you may be red or warm for a few hours to a few days. MOXI: redness and small rough dots for about 2–3 days. Your provider goes through it before treatment.
Does it hurt?
BBL feels like warm flashes, often compared to a light rubber-band snap. For MOXI, numbing cream goes on first and most people describe a warm, prickly feeling.
BBL or MOXI, which one do I need?
BBL is for brown spots, sun damage and redness. MOXI is for texture, pores, fine lines and mild pigment. Many people do both. Your provider recommends one at the consult.
How many sessions?
Most plans are 3 sessions about 4 weeks apart, then 1–2 maintenance visits a year.
Is fall a good time to start?
Yes. BBL works best on skin that isn't tanned, so fall and winter are ideal. Avoid sun and self-tanner for 2–4 weeks before treatment. MOXI can be done year-round with daily sunscreen.
Who shouldn't do it right now?
Let us know or wait if you have a tan or recent sun exposure, are pregnant, use medications that increase light sensitivity, or have cold sores or open skin in the area.
What does it cost, and can I pay over time?
BBL face $599, MOXI face $749, MOXI + BBL face $999. Packages of 3: $1,499, $1,899, $2,499. Cherry payment plans are available for laser packages. In November, buy a 3-session package and the 4th treatment is free.
